The Admin role is considered the Event Coordinator / Director. It is one of the three Site Owner roles and typically an Admin can request any assistance they need from zFairs.

Update Button Text

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Fair Setup"
  3. Under "Tools" click "Customize System Text"
  4. If the value has an edit pen to the left you can click on that pen
  5. Enter the desired text
  6. Click "Save Changes"

Connect to Stripe for Credit Card Payments

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Fair Settings"
  3. Click "Settings"
  4. Under "Fair Features & Settings" click the tab "Registration Fees"
  5. Click "Connect to Stripe"
  6. Follow the instructions on the page to set up

Enable Credit Card Payments

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Fair Setup"
  3. Click "Settings"
  4. Under "Fair Features & Settings" click the tab "Registration Fees"
  5. Click "Accept Credit/Debit Card payments via your merchant account"
  6. Scroll to the bottom and click "Save"

Request Payout of Credit Card Payments

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Fair Setup"
  3. Under "Tools" click "Payout Request"
  4. Fill in the information and click "Save"

Specify that the School is Paying Registration Fee

  1. Click "Create Account"
  2. Click "Schools"
  3. Click "Register Another School"
  4. Fill in the school information and select "This school is paying for registration fees; don't ask students."
    • If the school has already been entered you can click on the school and "Edit Selected School" you can then make change
  5. Click "Save"

Advancing Projects

See Promotion Linking for information on connecting your zFairs site to another zFairs site.
  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Promote/Advance Projects"
  3. Select the Fair you would like to advance them to
  4. Select the minimum award that is advancing (You can also select "All Projects")
  5. Click "Next"
  6. You will then be given the option to review all the projects that fall into your selected criteria and specify which projects you are advancing
  7. When you have selected the projects you would like to advance click "Advance Selected Projects"

Setting Welcome for Advancing Projects

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Fair Setup"
  3. Click "Settings"
  4. Under the "Student" tab there is the option:
    • Send welcome email when student is advanced/promoted from another contest
  5. Under the "Teacher" tab there is the option:
    • Send welcome email when teacher is promoted with their student(s)

Customizing Email Text For Welcome

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Fair Setup"
  3. Click "Customize Text"
  4. Under "Entry Advancement/Promotion you can select the student and teacher email to customize

Mass Imports of Schools/Students/Teachers (For History Contests)

  1. Click "Staff"
  2. Click "Import Student Projects"
  3. Follow the instructions on the page

Clear Scores from a Round

  1. Judging
  2. Judging Results Reviewer
  3. Select the Desired Round
  4. Click Clear all assessments
