zFairs Flex Flow Overview
In zFairs, Flex Flow acts as the ultimate "chameleon" feature. While it is heavily used for tailoring standard student and teacher registrations, it is fundamentally designed to handle anything that falls outside the platform's default templates.
If zFairs doesn’t have a built-in workflow for a specific aspect of your event, Flex Flow is what you use to build it.
Beyond standard questionnaires and fee collection, major use cases include:
1. Dedicated Exhibitor & Vendor Onboarding
If your event includes a marketplace, college fair, or company expo, use Flex Flow for an isolated registration path for vendors.
- What it handles: Booth space requirements, electrical/Wi-Fi needs, and vendor-specific insurance uploads.
2. Sponsor Registration & Activation
Direct sponsors to a customized sponsor flow instead of chasing deliverables by email.
- What it handles: High-resolution logos, company descriptions, and sponsorship tier selection.
- Perks: zFairs can use this data to populate a public “Sponsor Page” thanking sponsors on your event site.
3. Public Ticket Sales & Merchandise
Flex Flow can act as a public-facing storefront (not only contestant registration).
- What it handles: General admission tickets for award ceremonies, or pre-selling merchandise (t-shirts, pins, programs). Limits can close sales when reached.
4. Custom Compliance & Paperwork Wizards
Build custom document-routing when standard liability templates are not enough.
- What it handles: Regional liability waivers, medical releases, or custom digital signatures required by your organization or venue.
5. Niche Role Registrations (Volunteers, Media, VIPs)
Build distinct funnels for roles beyond judge, teacher, or competitor.
- What it handles: Volunteer shift availability/t-shirt sizes, press credentials for media, VIP registration, and more.
