zFairs Flex Flow Overview

In zFairs, Flex Flow acts as the ultimate "chameleon" feature. While it is heavily used for tailoring standard registrations, it is fundamentally designed to handle anything that falls outside the platform's default templates.

If zFairs doesn’t have a built-in workflow for a specific aspect of your event, Flex Flow is what you use to build it.

Beyond standard questionnaires and registrations, here are the other major possibilities and use cases for Flex Flow:

1. Dedicated Exhibitor & Vendor Onboarding

If your event includes a marketplace, college fair, or company expo, you can use Flex Flow to create a completely isolated registration path for vendors.

  • What it handles: Booth space requirements, identify electrical/Wi-Fi needs, and vendor-specific insurance uploads.

2. Sponsor Registration & Activation

Instead of chasing down sponsors via email for their deliverables, you can direct them to a customized sponsor flow.

  • What it handles: Collecting high-resolution corporate logos, company descriptions, and sponsorship tier selection.

3. Public Ticket Sales & Merchandise

While standard registration fields are tied to contestants, Flex Flow can be converted into a public-facing storefront.

  • What it handles: Selling general admission tickets, or pre-selling event merchandise like t-shirts, pins, and custom programs. Allows limits so that sales close when limits are reached.

4. Niche Role Registrations (Volunteers, Media, VIPs, Etc.)

Not everyone at an event is a judge, teacher, or competitor. Flex Flow allows you to build distinct funnels for the unsung heroes of your event.
