The zFairs Community is always churning out great ideas and we're thrilled to put them in place. We take new feature requests and slot them in to our roadmap for the future. See what New Features have been added last month:
New Features as of July
Registration Progress Bar
A new visual progress bar tracks user advancement through the registration process.
- Behavior: Only displays during the active registration process.
- Completion: Once a participant finishes core registration, the bar disappears—even if they still have optional forms to upload or unrequired information to fill out.
New Configuration Options
- Date of Birth Config (_____ - Date of Birth)
- Location: Found within each user's registration setup configurations.
- Options:
Hide|Ask|Require - Function: Enables a dedicated field for the selected user type to input their date of birth.
- Uploaded Files Manager
- Function: Allows management and deletion of historical files (images, documents, links) uploaded to your event over the years.
- Home Page Integration: This manager is now accessible directly inside the Home Page editor, enabling you to drag and drop existing files directly onto your page.
- ⚠️ Note on Responsiveness: When manually resizing these files in the editor, they may not scale cleanly across all screen dimensions (such as mobile devices or Chromebooks).
- Archive Before Date
- Function: Useful for overlapping registration periods. Input a specific cutoff date to erase system information prior to that day.

Updates & Enhancements
- Paperwork & SRC Filtering
- The paperwork checkbox indicating "Pre-approval is required by the SRC" is now fully searchable.
- You can quickly locate these items by using the filter to sort by
Pre-approval: Required.
- Teacher School Registration Form
- When teachers add a new school during the registration workflow, they are now prompted with the full school registration form. This allows them to populate all necessary school details immediately, rather than just providing the school name.
- NHD Judge Assignments
- For National History Day (NHD) configurations, judges' phone numbers are now visible directly on the Judge Groups page when reviewing round assignments.
