Setup Guides/Registration Windows

This page documents the Registration Windows instructional flow in the zFairs setup assistant.

Overview

Set dates and times for when registration is open for Judges, Volunteers, Teachers, or Non-Participant Attendees.

• Click on the Staff Drop-down Menu

• Go to Settings

• Search for "Flex" in the search bar

• Click on Flex Flow Instructions Manager

• Click Add

Fill in the information on the Editor

• Name - We suggest setting the name as "[Type of account] Registration" (Ex. Judge Registration). This name will show at the top of the page if someone tries to register before registration is open or after it has closed

• System Flow - This is the type of account you are setting the registration window for - Judge, Volunteer, Teacher, Attendee (Non Participant). Note: Participant registration is managed through all settings)

• Click Save

• Registration Open At - This is the date and time the specified type of user can begin registering.

• Not Opened Message - Click "Edit Page" to customize the message that is shown to the user if they try to register before registration is open.

• Registration Closes At - This is the date and time registration closes for the specifed type of user.

• Registration Window Passed Message - Click "Edit Page" to customize the message that is shown to the user if they try to register after registration has closed.

• Click Save and close the window.
