Overview

Which event are you?

If you are needing to advance participants from your site to another site, please select Source Event.

If you are going to be receiving participants from another site into your site, please select Target Event.

Target Event

Promoting Entries from one Event to the next is super easy. First, make sure the setting below is enabled. This will allow for participants to be promoted to your site.

Now, you can click below to find step by step instructions and easy access to the various aspects of receiving promoted entries.

Promoting Participants

Follow these step by step instructions to have a sucessful experence with your promotion:

• Click the Next button below

• Select the Fair to Advance to from the dropdown list of linked events

• Select the Minimum Award to Advance (this just limits who will be included in the promotion if wanted. You'll be individually selecting who you want to promote in a future step)

• Map the Categories from Your Event (categories on the left) to the Categories in the linked event (categories in the dropdown)

• This is where it can get a little tricky if you don't use the same categories. Do the best you can and if you have questions you can reach out to the linked event's coordinator. They can also always adjust things on their end if needed but this can also be time consuming if it is needed for all the Students you promote

• Map the Custom Questions (many of these likely won't map over and that is perfectly fine but if something does line up then feel free to map it over)

• Check / Select all of the Students you would like to promote (this list will be reduced based on your previous selection in the Minimum Award to Advance field)

• Click Advance Selected Projects
