Sample Letter to Test Video Conferencing

Hi,

We're partnering with zFairs to run our _________ contest and will be using their video conferencing services to facilitate it, no worries there are no download but we would like you to verify that you can access and use their video conferencing before the event so any potential issues can be address sooner.

To test the zFairs video conferencing system simply go to https://jitis401.zFairs.com/cad-test on the device you will use for our contest. You should see a message that says all is well, if so, good news everything is working. If not you might need to try a different network, device, or simply ask your IT team to enable these services on your network.

Thank you,

PS here is a sample IT network letter to help.

Sample Letter to IT

If you are struggling to connect or use our services, you may need to involve your IT team. Here is a template to make that easier.

Hi IT,

We're partnering with zFairs and need to make sure services are available to our staff and students while on our network. We will be using zFairs video conferencing solutions in conjunction with our event. Can you ensure these services are accessible on our network. You can test the video conferencing services by having two different devices browse to https://jitsi401.doctogether.com/video-test where at least one of the devices is on the network. While on this page you should be able to year and see the other person.

You can see zFairs' network requirements at https://wiki.zfairs.com/index.php?title=Network_requirements

Thank you,
