Page Creation and Management

To create custom pages, administrators should use the "page manager" tool via the ellipses menu or by navigating to the Page Manager found in All Settings. Creating a page requires defining a title and optional descriptive information for future staff reference. Access can be restricted based on user types, such as participants or judges, or by using specific tags. Once a page is added, it can be configured to show in the navigation menu, and icons can be assigned to the menu title for visual identification.

How to Create a New Page

  1. Go to Staff > All Settings.
  2. Search for "Page Manager" and click Edit.
  3. Click +Add to create a new page.
  4. Enter a Page Key (a unique reference word, such as "visit", used when attaching tabs later).
  5. Enter the Title to display on the page.
  6. (Optional) Upload a title image.
  7. Enter a Sort Number (e.g., 5) to control page order. Leave Group blank when creating a main page.
  8. (Optional) Add a short description and page content using text, images, or HTML.
  9. Click Save and Close after adding content.
  10. Set user visibility under Viewed By and select if users must be logged in to view.
  11. Enter the Menu Title, select an icon if desired, and set the location position number (leave Parent Menu blank).
  12. Click Save.

Creating and Sorting Tabs

Tabs are added to specific pages, requiring a defined title and a sort order. We recommend using increments of five when sorting to allow space for future additions without reordering the entire list. For those using the basic site, custom tabs can be grouped under the "home" group. In the new site style, custom tabs are associated with the specific page created. Content can be added to these tabs, and visibility can be restricted to specific user groups or tags.

How to Add a Tab to a Page

  1. Click Add in the Page Manager.
  2. Enter the same Page Key as the main page, enter a dash (-), followed by a word that identifies the specific tab. For BASIC STYLE ONLY, you can create a new tab by entering Home-"tab name" here, and then enter "Home" in the group section.
  3. Enter a Title and a Sort Number for the tab.
  4. Set the Group to match the main page's Page Key.
  5. Enter your tab content.
  6. Set the Viewed By options if wanted.
  7. Click Save (menu settings do not need to be filled out for tabs).
