Overview

Renumber Entries

Renumbering entries will re-assign project numbers to all projects, based on the Project Format ID you set below. zFairs will use this format when re-assigning Project IDs.


Click one of the options below to re-assign Entry Numbers. Here is the difference:

  • Renumber: Re-assign Entry IDs based on the order entries were registered. This is helpful if you have removed Entries/Projects, so there are gaps in the Entry IDs.
  • Randomize Entry Numbers: This will randomize the numbers included in Project IDs for all projects. It will not affect any other part of the Project ID. For example, if you have your Project IDs set up to use the format "Category Abbreviation - Grade - Number", the Category Abbreviation and Grade will not be affected, only the number. Also important to note, this will randomize the number for all projects.

Steps

1. Renumber

Your entry/project ids have been reset and if you have entries they have been renumbered from the begining.


2. Renumber Only Approved Entries

Your entry/project ids have been reset and if you have entries they have been renumbered from the begining.

Not approved entries have a default project id of {x}


3. Randomize Entry Numbers

Randomize Entry Numbers

This will randomize the numbers included in Project IDs for all projects. It will not affect any other part of the Project ID. For example, if you have your Project IDs set up to use the format "Category Abbreviation - Grade - Number", the Category Abbreviation and Grade will not be affected, only the number. Also important to note, this will randomize the number for all projects.
