This page documents the Enable Video Upload instructional flow in the zFairs setup assistant.

Turn on video upload for your event!

What is video upload?

The video upload feature in zFairs allows participants to upload video files directly to their zFairs profile. This means that participants will not need to save their videos on another platform (i.e. Google, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.) and provide a link to them, which often leads to sharing permission issues, causing unnecessary frustration. For National History Day Events, you can allow participants in the Documentary and/or Performance category to upload their videos.

How is video upload used?

Once you enable video upload using the buttons below, a new field will appear on the "Entry" tab of participant profiles. This field allows for MP4 files up to 1 GB in size.

Video Upload has been enabled for Documentaries!

Students will now have a field to upload a video when they select the Documentary category, whether it is an individual or group. You may now close this window.

Video Upload has been enabled for Performances!

Students will now have a field to upload a video when they select the Performance category, whether it is an individual or group. You may now close this window.

Video Upload has been enabled for Documentaries and Performances!

Students will now have a field to upload a video when they select either of these categories. You may now close this window.
