From zFairs Contest Management
zFairs offers a wide variety of project format options and configurations. Here is an overview of everything you can do and all the places that impact or may impact what your Project IDs look like.
Project ID Format Selection
- Selecting the format for your Project IDs is the first place you will want to start. Here is where you can go to do this:
- Sign into your zFairs site as a Staff or Admin user
- Click on Staff -> Fair Setup in the menu
- Select Settings from the upper left box
- Scroll down to Fair Features & Settings and select the Project/Entry subtab
- Review the options in the Project Id Format dropdown list
- Select the Number of Digits
- Setting the number of digits to 1 will remove all leading zeros from any format selected
- Click Save at the very bottom of the page

Renumbering Projects
- If all you are doing is changing the format of the Project ID then this will reflect immediately upon saving and refreshing the page. That being said, if you ever find yourself needing to completely re-number projects here is where you would go to do that:
- Staff -> Fair Setup -> General Information -> Advanced Tools -> Renumber Projects
