Site Ownership

zFairs Site Ownership is established when a client / site is first set up. We gather the information on the Primary Contact, Bill to Person / Organization and create the Contest Director's Admin User. These three individuals or entities, can be the same individual / entity, are Owners of the site and have full control over it and the data associated with it. zFairs will not personally give access to anyone else outside these three (unless otherwise directed / requested by one of these three) and it is up to the Site Owners to create other users and promote them to Staff or Admin roles, as needed, on the site.

It is worth noting that if a user is promoted to the Role of Admin on a site they will be treated the same as a Contest Director for the purposes of requesting assistance from zFairs. Please keep this in mind when promoting a user to the Admin role.

Site Owners

Primary Contact The Primary Contact for each site is contained and configured inside of Overseer for each Site / Client. The Primary Contact is often the person who initially reaches out and requests that the site be created but that is not always the case and the First Time Setup Questionnaire should be followed when configuring this. Bill to Entity This is the person / organization zFairs will send invoice and billing information to. This entity will be set up in Waveapps or the current billing software so that invoices and communications for this client are sent to them by default. Event Director(s) The Event Director is an Admin User on the specific zFairs site. zFairs will typically only create a single Admin user per site but anyone promoted to be an Admin is counted as a Site Owner and an Event Director. Occasionally, it will be requested that zFairs set up more than one Event Direct / Admin user when a site is created to allow a team of individuals to have the same access and ability to manage the site. zFairs will only do this when requested by our client during the site creation process.
