14:05:11 From Preston McCleve : fair setup
14:05:13 From Sheila Weahkee : Is there no way to indicate active/inactive for the year?
14:05:16 From Preston McCleve : right hand side
14:05:57 From Daniel Rojas to zFairs(Direct Message) : Can you enlarge the screen a little please!
14:06:04 From Ann Shioji : When judges signed up, they signed up for preferred categories: does setup/autoplop take these preferences in to account?
14:06:22 From Nicole Guttenberg : are judging sessions used when you are not doing interviews?
14:07:31 From Mark Fontaine : How can we use auto assign schedule appointments for students and judges so they only have to be in their “rooms” when judges are scheduled to interview them?
14:08:22 From CYNTHIA LETCHER : Is there any place on zfairs for log books? Did I miss this?
14:08:43 From Nicole Guttenberg : We did a trial run of loading judges. It showed that the information was loaded but we did not see the assignments with the judges. Is there a time delay?
14:09:33 From Patti Carothers 1 California : Where do you set up the breaks?
14:09:36 From Sheila Weahkee : Cynthia - student log book? we are having our kids make pdf file and upload as image.
14:09:42 From Nancy H - CO : How can we tell which judges and students are logged in?
14:10:01 From Tony Schene : Is there a way to assign "currently logged in" judges?
14:10:06 From Timara Underbakke MN : if there are muiltiple rounds, how does this affect the final score? Is it a weighted average of the rounds?
14:10:19 From Nancy H - CO : Any clue what order the projects show up on the project dashboard or within a category?
14:10:31 From Nancy H - CO : Could you explain the tag feature?
14:11:18 From Nancy H - CO : What is an "active" student project?
14:12:21 From Mark Fontaine : did I hear correctly that auto assign does not factor judge preferences when assigning?
14:14:44 From Patti Carothers 1 California : In our Round 2 - we need the following: 1) 4 to a group 2) 4 different large group deliberation rooms after the judging for determining the students moving on to state, and international fairs. Where do we set this up?
14:15:29 From Gary : HOW ABOUT PAPERWORK FILE
14:15:41 From Patti Carothers 1 California : By the way … the large group deliberation rooms will each have up to 40 judges for about an hour
14:16:18 From Gary : pAAERWORK FILE FOR LOGBOOK
14:16:51 From Sheila Weahkee : HOW DO SUBROUNDS WORK?
14:18:09 From Tony Schene : You said earlier that "Active" means registered or logged in within the last 6 months. Now you're saying that it means "currently logged in". Which is it?
14:18:40 From Hughes, Lee : If judging occurs over multiple rounds, should the Primary ("Feeder") Round be labeled as a "sub-round"?
Also, can you show us how "Tags" can be used to flag/promote project to subsequent judging rounds? Thank you
14:20:09 From Lisa : I entered a custom rubric. it asked me to assign a%of the total score. I see now that judges can only answer yes or no instead of a scale of 1-10. how do I set up the rubric so the judges can use a scale of 1-10 please?
14:21:29 From Nancy H - CO : The project dashboard isn't alpha at all...
14:22:26 From Sheila Weahkee : but are tags visible to students/public?
14:22:28 From Lisa : perfect. thx!
14:22:48 From Nicole Guttenberg : If judges are doing asynchronous judging of materials uploaded (no interviews) is there a way for judges to ask/write students a question that the students can then answer via the zFAIRS system?
14:26:49 From Sheila Weahkee : how do they link?
14:27:00 From Lisa : when I set up the custom rubric..I have it in the order of the scientific method, but when I go in as a judge, the order is mixed up. how do I make sure the judges see the rubric judging categories in the correct order?
14:27:51 From Sheila Weahkee : WHERE DO ROUND AND SUBROUND LINK?
14:29:24 From Nancy H - CO : Why does Billy Bob have a crown on the judging dashboard?
14:30:15 From Patti Carothers 1 California : Answer for Log books: What we did for log books is tell the students to make the file a pdf. If it is greater than 20 MB they will need to divide into part 1, part 2 part 3 and upload each as a single pdf. You set this up all of your deliverables (things to be uploaded). Go to Paperwork > file set up You can determine who sees what and if it is required or not etc.
14:31:02 From Mark Fontaine : If you turn on students canot be in a room with a judge alone and then schedule judging appointments, will the system put 2 judges in the same room at the same time
14:34:33 From Nancy H - CO : Is there a way to open the showcase without a key for Public Viewing
14:37:30 From Sheila Weahkee : ADMIN HAVE CROWNS, TOO.
14:38:10 From Sheila Weahkee : ... IN SOME PLACES
14:38:44 From Mark Fontaine : I am refering to auto assigning not auto plop
14:39:08 From Patti Carothers 1 California : I guess I missed the meeting describing video gate, Is there a video to review this feature?
14:40:37 From Sheila Weahkee : HOW DO YOU ASSIGN LEAD JUDGE?
14:40:44 From Patti Carothers 1 California : On showcase- I accidently checked it and we have a key. Students that were registered were then able to see all of the students and their deliverables.. so I assume we keep it unchecked until we want to have our showcase??
14:40:54 From Nicole Guttenberg : @Mark Fontaine We tried that and it didn’t seem to allow two judges at the same time. It is totally possible that we didn’t have all the correct settings. :-)
14:41:28 From Daniel Rojas : https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=zfairs
14:43:39 From Sheila Weahkee : HOW DO I DOWNLOAD SCORES
