Overview

Welcome to the zFairs Guided Review for your Showcase

This should go pretty quick and will give you the option to set up the Showcase for your event by just answering some questions as we ask them. The goal is to make it so you never need to look at another Showcase config again and we can just run through this quick conversation any time you need to adjust things. Let us know what you think and don't hold back on the good, the bad or the ugly. We can take it... Well I can. I'm not so sure about the others but I'll be sure to give them a hug if they need it. Virtual hugs are the best kind of almost hugs. Please send all feedback via email to Support@zfairs.com. Thank you.

Things to Know Before You Start When selecting the Most True statement be sure to read them all before making a selection.

When provided the option for answering Yes/No/Skip, know that the Yes and No options are often (almost always) tied to configuration adjustments. If you aren't sure and don't want to make any changes select Skip to leave things however they currently are.

We'll try to provide context in all cases so you are informed about the decisions you are making. Check the small text for additional information and details.

That should be all that is needed for now. If you ever need to make adjustements feel free to do so using one of the other options presented. Thank you.

9. Start from Scratch & Craft the Full Experience

Final Warning!

This will turn off All Showcase Settings for your event, including the showcase itself, and walk you through setting by setting so you can decide if that setting is something you want turned on or off. This is never recommended but should only be used by advanced users who are very familiar with zFairs and have a specific setup they are trying to imitate.

Are you sure you want to proceed?

Review who has Access to see the Showcase?

Typically, fully registered and signed in users, of any role, have access to view the Showcase when it is on. That being said you have options to control this further and limit or open up your showcase in other ways. Reviewing who has access will allow you to dig through those settings and adjust who sees what.

23. Must be Signed In for Access to Files & Images?

Hide Files & Images from un-registered Showcase viewers?

zFairs can restrict access to files and images and prevent users who are not registered from accessing them (they won't appear or be on the page at all if the user is not signed in).

Please Be Aware that so long as registration is open to the public (for any user type), anyone can register a user and gain immediate access to showcase files if this is the only feature preventing their access to Files & Images on the Showcase. To lock this down, please be sure to turn off public registration for all user types.
