If you've ever had a long home page on zFairs and wanted to be able to link users to specific areas of it then this is the feature for you. See below for the steps on how to set up an Anchor Point.
- Go to the page you would like to place an anchor on
- Click the edit button in the top right (or if you are on the Fair Setup -> Customize Text page you can just click on the page you want to edit and skip steps 1 & 2)
- Type in the desired string of text at the desired location (it can be anything you want and formatted however you'd like)
- Highlight the text being used as the Anchor
- In the format options there is a Flag icon (it is just to the right of the create and remove link icons and if you hover over it you'll see it is called "Anchor")
- Click the Flag / Anchor icon
- Specify a name for the Anchor
- Next create a hyperlink in the place where you want the link to be to then take users to the Anchor point
- You can set the Hyperlink type to be Link to anchor in the text or set a basic hyperlink with the url being only a hash / pound symbol and then the name of the wanted Anchor
- NOTE: The names of the Anchors are case sensitive
- Save and test your new hyperlink and anchor point
